Professional services
More of your people's time spent on the work clients pay for
In law, accounting and advisory firms the scarce resource is senior time. Every hour a qualified person spends formatting, chasing or searching is an hour not billed and not spent on judgement.
Law, accounting and advisory firms
Common problems in the sector
- Fee earners spending hours each week on formatting, chasing documents and administration.
- Client onboarding and know-your-client checks run by email, paper and memory.
- Matter or engagement status that nobody can see without asking around.
- Associates using public AI tools on confidential client documents.
- Time capture and billing that run late and leak value.

Illustrative scenario
AI use at a law firm, brought under the partners' control.
Associates at a mid-sized law firm have begun using public AI tools to draft correspondence and summarise documents. The partners do not know which tools are in use or whether client information is being entered into them.
We would begin with a partners' session on what the tools can and cannot be trusted to do, and agree rules on confidentiality and checking. Associates and support staff would then be trained separately, using the firm's own document types, on drafting, summarising and review with those rules built in. Repetitive tasks raised during the sessions would be listed for the partners to consider afterwards.
